Term 3 Week 1

Welcome back to Term 3

Here is the Task sheet for week 1. 

Our main topic this term will be Aztecs. For English we're doing poetry and for Maths we'll continue with multiplication & division strategies. We will also be looking at measurement.   Week 8 this term is Art Week so get thinking about how we can decorate the class and the hallway outside Room 8

Here are the reading challenges for this term. Books can count in more than one challenge. Try to complete as many as you can!

10 Book Challenge: Read 10 books in one term.                                       

20 Book Challenge:  Read 20 books in one term. 

Name Title Challenge:  Read a book that includes a person’s name in the title.

400+ Challenge: Read a book that is over 400 pages long.

Comic Challenge: Read 3 comic books.

Non-fiction: Read a factual book.

Classic Challenge: Read a book written before 1950.

Own Name Challenge: Read a book that includes a character with your own name.

Alliterative Author Challenge: Read a book by an author whose first and last names start with the same letter.
